The Information Processing Management Association, Washington State's hub for information technology professionals, wanted to update their visual identity to express their non-profit organization as leaders in IT education and networking not only statewide but also nationwide.

While designing the logo, the already
well known Information symbol "i" was integrated with abstract swirling shapes that convey networking, motion, and interaction with information. The result is an effective, clean, professional corporate identity that represents the organization's mission to help maintain Washington State’s position as a nationally recognized, premier IT center, and to push the IT industry forward in a positive direction by bringing together the IT community for professional development opportunities.
